Do you believe that everything that is happening in your life serves a purpose? No matter what our belief may be, looking at things from the perspective of trust is crucial. Trust in yourself, trust in others and most of all trust in the process. Most of us have never learned how to do this because we are surrounded by fear of the unknown or we learn to excuse the way things are.
For example using statements like ” I can’t do this it’ s too hard”, ” I know it won’t work”, or ” why bother it never changes”. These are just a few of the many excuses we all use from time to time. In essence what we are saying is that we have no trust that what’s unfolding in our life is just part of the process of it all. It can be tough to change and when we do, it can be really uncomfortable.
A mentor of mine recently spoke to me about looking at the tasks at hand as a process rather than making it purely about the emotions that you feel about the task. This sparked an inner shift to just give in and trust and to go with the flow of what is unfolding in life rather than resisting and trying to make sense of everything. There is much to be learned, discovered and experienced when we do this.
Making the commitment to do something each and every day to cultivate this trust can bring the results that you wish to see in your relationships, friendships, business and in life.
