In the last half of this year I have been truly inspired by many who have been literally taking a stand to make course corrections in their lives in order to live a life that is filled with happiness, joy fulfillment, passion, vitality and purpose.
I have had the privilege to see people change their careers after 4 decades of doing the same job to pursue what makes them feel alive and excited. And those that have ended 30+ year relationships in order for both people to discover their true path and be happy. And even those that have moved across the world within a few weeks time to pursue a meaningful project.
What I have noticed as the common denominators with all of these people is that in-order for them to ignite that sparkle from within they all have a deep sense of trust and commitment to living their true purpose. They all have chosen to let go of what their minds say is right or wrong and began “bridging” the gap between their souls desire and what lies in their heart and mind. Each of them have a certain way that they have learned to stay connected to what really matters and start the process one step at a time. They have had a way of taking baby steps to begin the transformations in their lives. It has been beautiful to watch. It’s much like the caterpillar becoming a butterfly.
Have you experienced this kind of transformation in your own life or know somebody that has this year?
Making changes in our lives is a true source of inspiration for yourself and others. What changes are you desiring to make as we start shifting into 2016?
It’s never too early to start reflecting upon your life.
