The second insight of 2015 that I would like to share with you is learning to adapt an Attitude of Gratitude. I have seen really big shifts for myself and for those around me by adapting this one shift this year.
Have you taken the time to really be grateful for everything on a regular basis in your life? Your health, your family and friends, your job, your unique abilities and even the pain points in your life.
Usually we don’t look at pain as a good thing whether it is physical pain, emotional or even mental. We usually want to get away from it, suppress it or ignore it if we can. Pain or discord in our lives can serve as a great signal for us that there is something not going the way it should. It can take away your energy and zest in life if you let it.
But we can do something about it. By adapting the Attitude of Gratitude you can begin to shift that into a beautiful learning process. It is one of the first steps to take towards gaining your energy back.
Take a few minutes a day to think about the things in your life that you are grateful for. I would suggest keeping a small gratitude journal where you can jot some notes down throughout the day. I find that it helps me feel positive, energetic and peaceful in the midst of so much that is going on in our worlds.
Be grateful for it all.. including yourself.
