Being mindful goes way beyond our minds. What does it mean to be mindful? Learning how to observe yourself and the way you are responding and interacting with others. This takes practice and awareness. Cultivating the habit of observing yourself in situations as well as the situations.
This is the key to help ourselves to be more intentional. We get caught in reactive traps most of the time, but if we begin to take a step back and begin to observe we are in essence becoming more mindful. You can do this in every situation. Its a matter of learning how to observe.
