We are creating our reality, we do it all the time.
We are the architects of our experiences and we are doing this whether we are consciously aware of it or not. When we get a chance to combine our consciousness and creation at the same time is when the fun begins.
Walt Disney coined the term imagineering, meaning the implementation of creative ideas in a practical way.

In other words… Imagineering is the powerful combination of imagination and engineering. We are tapping into imagineering every day without even realizing it.
From planning a vacation with a packing list to preparing for that board meeting, you’re using the power of imagineering.
For example, when you’re about to start cooking dinner, you have an idea in your mind of what you want to eat.
You know how you want it to taste, how it should look, what temperature , how long it will be until you can sit down and eat… In your imagination, before you ever turned on the stove, your imagination has been conjuring up mental images and sensations of the meal you’re about to prepare.
Any time you are using your imagination to envision what it is that you want to accomplish and then start to plan and construct how you are going to reach that goal, you’re using the power of Imagineering. On a physiological level our brain and subconscious does not know the difference between it being a thought and if it is already occurring. This is why it is so important to do this with an intention and clarity.
The question is, how proactive are we with it?
Are we just going with the flow? Have our days fallen into a rut, not recognizing or honoring the influence we have with the power of our imagination? Are you drifting through life without any creativity or excitement?
And if you are, is that working for you?
When your heart and mind are in alignment, when you’re passionate about your goals, when you’re inspired…
When you go after your dreams headfirst, the Universe conspires to meet you halfway and deliver exactly what you’ve been dreaming about. Things will come into your life, situations will iron themselves out and everything will curiously fall into place at just the right time.
What could happen in your life if you chose to use this potential intentionally?
What impact could you have if you tapped into the energy of Imagineering and followed that dream with passion, integrity, and authenticity?
The beautiful thing about Imagineering is that no one can do it for you. It’s not about what someone else thinks you should be doing or how you should be acting. It’s about what is true for you.
One of the most challenging aspects of self-growth is learning to be okay with marching to your own beat.
Just as the Universe conspires to deliver convenient circumstances to help you achieve your dreams, people in your life will make comments and pass judgment as you’re evolving in your personal journey. We are especially sensitive to this while we are going through any transition in our lives.
It can be difficult to stand your ground and stay true to yourself.
Just remember that we are changing and evolving all the time – and they are too. Sometimes, when we grow and evolve to the next stage of our lives, other people are afraid of being left behind or feel jealous that they don’t have the courage to follow their dreams the way that you are. And that’s ok.
Just remember that marching to your own beat doesn’t mean that you’re rude to other people or step on their toes. Honoring that each and everyone of us has our own path to follow and sometimes in these growth spurts and expansion there will be changes in your outerworld that begin to match your inner world.
Putting Imagineering into Practice
The secret to amplifying the effects of Imagineering is to be consciously aware of how you use your imagination and to intentionally imagine what you would like to create in your life.
Your imagination is a powerful mental muscle. The more you use it, exercise it and play with it, the more effective your imagineering efforts will be!
Ask yourself:
- Where can I be more imaginative?
- What areas of my life am I just “going with the flow” instead of going after my dreams?
- How can I bring more creativity into my daily life? What will bring me more joy?
- What would be exciting for me to accomplish?
Get creative and have fun with your imagination.
The more creative you are the more the more creativity comes to you and through you. Give yourself some time and space to get creative and intentionally imagine exactly what you want.
What makes you happy? What brings joy and fulfillment into your life? What’s the best way to show up in the world? What would be fun to learn about? What do you wish was available so you could have more of it in your life? Talk to people who inspire you. Ask them how they got where they are now, and what steps it took. Ask yourself “What is the goal?” – how can I take this and direct it towards to my highest and greatest good? Working towards manifesting your goals means there’s only room for the important .
Look inward at the things you find valuable and worth your attention. What you ask for will come in. Youre knowledge and intuition says a lot about the things you can handle and that you need to handle. What’s important and what isn’t. What will bring you forward and what will bring the focus backwards? Im not suggesting to live in isolation, Im suggesting to be aware of your surroundings and whats going on inside so when it does come time for change, you’ll recognise it. What is something good about this conversation
How do you ask the universe for something?
Step 1 – Be Sure, Be Precise. what exactly do you want?
Step 2 – Ask And Let It Go.
Step 3 – Be Patient.
Step 4 – Watch For Signs.
Step 5 – Trust That The Universe Knows Best.
Step 6 – Send Reminders Now And Again.
Step 7 – Be Thankful.
Step 8 – Be Open To What Comes.
How content can one person be at there worst moments if there’s nothing pushing them forward? What should you be focusing on when these things happen?
People who are content with life, cherish their surroundings even when they’re down but there’s always a way out. Having these types of conversations with yourself opens truths maybe you weren’t ready to admit or had the courage to face. What’s important is that you continue to ask yourself what it is your trying to accomplish and how content you must be with the way things are. What we want out of life may seem unreachable or unlikely at times, but we should always remember that we’re capable if we work hard enough – do you agree?
Any goal big or small requires smart thinking , planning and finding ways to motivate yourself. What are the downfalls of wanting too much too soon and not seeing how you must work for what is most important?
If we go back to how people feel when they’re content with life – there’s a sense of peace and calmness about them no matter what happens. They can find comfort in times of hardship and think about their current situation with hope for the future. What do you think?
A little bit of time pays off in a big way when you use your imagination constructively. Make it your new daily habit to use your commute time or your shower time to dream up big goals and visions for yourself.
The more creativity, compassion, and excitement you can bring into the world, the more positive impact you will have in all areas of your life. Whatever your mission is, whatever you stand for, whatever your purpose is, find that and cultivate it.
Bring your passion and enthusiasm out in the world.
Just imagine what you could do!
