Many years ago, I went through a complete transformative time in my life that lead me to where I am now. I was facing major personal losses of loved ones and what seemed at the time that my entire life was coming to a screeching halt and crumbling before my own eyes. Although my external successes and wall that I had built around me kept it seeming like nothing was going on to others on the outside, I was crashing on the inside and finding myself at rock bottom. I was moving away from practices that I had learned as a child to stay in balance. I ditched philosophies and ways of thinking that served a bigger purpose because I was so overwhelmed and devastated by my life falling apart. I wasn’t listening to my own intuition and internal guidance system anymore and I was spiraling into a very unhealthy and unhappy state of being. I knew I had a choice: Either give up or climb back up from the pit one step at a time.
Thankfully, I chose to climb forward…. step-by-step and it was through this that I found that the answers were within me the whole time. I began connecting with my truest self again, finding my purpose and gaining my health and well-being in every area of my life. As I was going through this process, I started giving the advice to my private patients and clients and watched them make major transformations in their own life. I was inspired and I knew that I had accessed that deeper sense of purpose and mission. Those catalytic events years ago lead me to transform my life in so many ways in order to share it with others.
The Prasad Method ™ was created out of integrating Eastern and Western philosophies, methodologies, and techniques that I used for my own Transformations. WHAT’S IN A NAME? Prasad. My last name. An offering to the divine, which is then blessed and redistributed to share with others. When we work on ourselves, we’re working on all relationships and experiences, spreading the joy, love and happiness into the world. The meaning of Prasad in Sanskrit in its purest form ‘Prasada’ or ‘Prasadam’, means an enlightening with ease and clarity, it means a gracious gift, so it’s created by giving and receiving. The concept of Prasad is that the more it’s distributed, the more positive thought is concentrated on the wish or the prayer that you have, of the desire that you have.
I have been fortunate to help thousands of people over the years make transformations and big changes in their lives and look forward to connecting with you on your Journey.
Much Love,
DR. ASHA PRASAD
